Walnut Street Theatre is America's Oldest Theatre, founded in 1808, and a National Historic Landmark in Philadelphia's Center City. The venue has three stages, each offering a unique performance experience.
- Mainstage (~1,100 seats): Two-level theatre with Orchestra (first level, no seat more than 45 feet from the stage) and Mezzanine (second level); all seats assigned and reserved
- Independence Studio on 3 (~80 seats): Small, flexible black box theatre; general admission on a first-come basis
- Studio 5 (52 seats): Intimate studio space for smaller, more experimental productions
- Premium & Luxury Box Seating: Available on the Mainstage for select events

- Parkway Outdoor Lot: Immediately east of the theatre on Walnut Street (subscriber discounts available)
- Parkway Walnut Towers Garage: Across the street (south) on Walnut Street (subscriber discounts with ticket)
- SEPTA Trains: R1–R8 to Jefferson Station (11th St); walk east to 9th St, south to Walnut
- PATCO Speedline: To 9th & Locust stop; walk 1 block north to the theatre
- SEPTA Bus: Routes #9, #12, #21, #42, #61 stop at 9th & Walnut
- Amtrak: 30th Street Station, then SEPTA trains to Jefferson Station
- Rideshare/Taxi: Drop off at 825 Walnut Street at the theatre entrance

The Walnut Street Theatre box office is open Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets can also be purchased online or by phone at any time during operating hours.
